In 1996 and 1997, Redwulf Dancing Bare's camera captured a transitional time in queer identity. These "Drag Queen" images, slowly fading from the gay cultural scene, highlight the freedom and authenticity arising from the AIDS crisis of the decade before. This show is a representation of the 'phoenix rising from the ashes'. These vintage treasures must be seen to be appreciated. Redwulf's eye for the emotional depth of the human experience dances nicely with the celebration of spirit in these iconic 35 mm photographs. Stop by the Galleria Carnaval to see the show - running through Summer Solstice 2018.
